Don’t just be an observer…

Be a part of nature!

One Earth.

We are all a part of this planet. We have only one home. Let’s strive to protect our world and all of its inhabitants.

Respectful & safe interactions with our fellow inhabitants

An Octopus’ Garden.

One of my favorite creatures to interact with under water. They are so alien with their constant change in shape and colors. My friends call me the octopus whisperer as I always get one outstanding octopus video during each trip.

How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful.

Striped blue marlins going after bait balls in Baja Mexico - an equally magical experience as the more famous Sardine Run in South Africa

Humpback Whales of Tonga.

After the mother gets comfortable with you, she lets her baby play. The only place in the world that you can get such close interactions without overcrowding.

Sperm Whales of Dominica.

Properly regulated interactions with this endangered species. Can they adapt and evolve their hunting and parenting styles to survive?

Tickle Tickle

Typically, one should never touch a wild marine animal, but sometimes they just ask for it. This beautiful bottlenose dolphin kept swimming back to us for over an hour wanting to play.

Dancing in the Dark

Dancing in the Dark *

It’s uncommon to be able to scuba dive with a whale shark (most interactions are snorkeling). However, when I saw these whale sharks next to our liveaboard just hanging out, I had to put on my gear and dive in. And to my surprise, one just swirled and circled around me entangling us in a beautiful dance.

Sharks.

Maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Migration.

This is not the mass migration of wildebeests in the Serengeti plains but rather mobula rays in the Sea of Cortez. They congregate in large of fevers of 100s to 1000s, in a beautiful and mesmerizing display below and above the water.

Killers.

It’s rare to be able to swim with these killers of the sea (killer whales/orcas and false killer whales). At first, a moment of fear strikes you until you realize how highly intelligent they are … before awe and amazement completely takes over your senses.
